Ludwieg Tube Group - GALCIT
The construction and design of the Ludwieg tube facility at GALCIT was started in 1998, with the completion of the laboratory building. The design of the facility was finished in 1999 and on December 17th, 2000 the facility was completed and leak tested. The first shot occurred on March 5th, 2001. The principal designers were Hans Hornung, Bahram Valiferdowsi, and John Korte.
